This is a painting from my series of 'Sorrow'. As a part of my IB Visual Arts curriculum, we have to choose a topic and make paintings or sculptures based on them. I chose 'Sorrow' as it is a beautiful emotion which can be depicted through a figure. This painting is inspired by 'The Sorrow' by Van Gogh. I have researched a lot to come up with a color pallet of this particular emotion. The medium i used was acrylic paint. This painting has been made on a canvas. Sunday, October 10, 2010
